The Wolf welcomes on Pete Davidson (@Rotobahn), founder of Rotobahn.com and host of WEEI Boston Sports Radio’s Fantasy Football show. After hosting many great “advanced analytical” minds, Davidson brings an entirely different, “film-based” approach. Due to previous work as a professional scout, Pete is a master at evaluating players’ abilities and how they fit into different offensive schemes and with their teammates. Though this may be one of our longest pods ever, it’s completely jam-packed with equal amounts of player reports and different fantasy strategies that can’t be missed, including:

  • How to blend both film and analytics to create the ideal player evaluations
  • Just how athletic is Evan Engram, and why is he set to finally hit his ceiling
  • Is the Curtis Samuel hype train warranted? Why could he have a Tyreek Hill type of breakout?
  • Even before Lamar Miller was gone… what makes Duke Johnson such a fantastic fit with the Texans, and how could Deshaun Watson grow as a passer?
  • Why Nick Chubb is 6th overall on Pete’s board, and why he feels Kareem Hunt won’t ruin this prime set-up
  • Should Miles Sanders or David Montgomery be taken first, and who’s ceiling is ultimately higher?
  • What does Pete see in Royce Freeman that makes him nearly 50 spots higher than his ADP?
  • How to approach the QB position, and why Matt Ryan may be lower on Pete’s ranks even if he’s set up for a great season

Plus, as always, we run Pete through the “No Huddle” offense and find out who he’d take at No.1 overall, his feelings on Todd Gurley, the biggest bargains and busts in fantasy for 2019, and this year’s late round pick that could win leagues.

This was one of my favorite recordings ever, and I hope you guys enjoy Pete’s in-depth takes as much as me.

Aug 29, 2019

The Wolf goes through all the Fantasy Football Risers, Fallers, and new Penny Stock Sleepers who emerged from Preseason Week 3, also known as "The Dress Rehearsal." Considering Andrew Luck retired and Lamar Miller tore his ACL all in one night, this is as important as they come.

Aug 24, 2019

Three new Offensive Coordinators are going hugely under the radar because they’re on “unsexy” teams (DEN, BAL, DAL), but the Fantasy Football implications could be huge. Thus, The Wolf and Truth return to break down what new schemes Rich Scangarello, Kellen Moore, and Greg Roman will be bringing to the Broncos, Cowboys, and Ravens respectively. - How could Kellen Moore invigorate the Cowboys, especially Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott

Picking up the heat from Part 1 of our Bold Fantasy Football Predictions series, The Wolf and Sami are back to bring some Running Back and Tight End fire. - A bonus argument on Jimmy Graham

Running Backs are usually the difference between a title and shame, and an edge-gaining Tight End can often be the final push. Find out who The Wolf and Sami think you need to target and avoid in this jam-packed Bold Fantasy Football Predictions Part 2.

Jul 3, 2019

Hallelujah, Training Camp is on the horizon! To usher it in, The Wolf brings you his Bold 2019 Fantasy Football Predictions Predictions featuring Sami of the Draft Room Podcast (@DraftRoomPod).

Though we wanted to hit Bold Predictions for all positions, we only managed to squeeze in QBs and WRs for Part 1… partly because of our loaded analysis, but mainly because things got heated quick. These predictions range from guys we are All-In or All-Out on, with The Wolf and Sami sharing some feelings… and disagreeing on a bunch more. Whether building on one another’s points or debating furiously, we cover a range of topics including:

-Why both feel Kyler Murray has a limitless ceiling and is THE late-round QB to target

-Why Sami is out on Drew Brees and if The Wolf agrees

-What two QBs going outside the Top 20 could finish within the Top-10?

-Just how many yards does The Wolf expect Baker Mayfield to throw for?

-Will Stefon Diggs finally outscore Adam Thielen?

-Which WR going outside the Top 150 overall does The Wolf see as a Top-25 upside play?

-Which “Fantasy Darlings” is The Wolf completely out on, especially at their absurd prices?

-Wait… DeAndre Hopkins NOT a Top 4 WR? Can Sami really make this case?

This episode is completely loaded with information and entertainment, so don’t miss it!

The Patriots are always buzzy because.. Well, they’re the Patriots. But even moreso, this offseason has been wild, with huge departures and additions that all carry massive fantasy weight. To break it all down, we welcome on WEEI’s Ryan Hannable for a Dive Record fifth time. We cover all the burning questions, including:

- What does N’Keal Harry bring to the table, and is he worth the No.1 overall Dynasty selections so many peg him for?
- Will any of Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Ben Watson, or Matt Lacosse carve out a meaningful fantasy role?
- How about any of this new WRs trio of Demaryius Thomas, Dontrelle Inman, and Maurice Harris?
- Can Julian Edelman carry his dominant playoffs stretch run into the regular season… and put together a career year?
- What’s the state of Sony Michel and this backfield after the addition of Damien Harris? - What’s Harris’ potential role here?
- Is James White hurt at all by the move?
- Is Tom “God” Brady set for a statistical uptick or dreaded downtick at age 42… or should we expect more of the same from Our Savior?
- Will the Patriots take the AFC Championship again (and are the Browns for real?)

We wouldn’t have Hannable on a record five-times if he wasn’t pure gold, and this might be our best interview yet. Patriots and fantasy fans alike - this one is a can’t miss.

-In case you needed more reasons to avoid Jordan Howard, Mike Davis, and LeSean McCoy… we have them.

-Who could steal the invaluable “Steelers RB Handcuff” role?

Though rookies usually get all the attention after the NFL Draft, the fantasy football impacts are often even greater for the veterans. Whether a new addition, like a beefy lineman, boosts a player’s “Surrounding Talent” scores, or a lack of a major move improves a veteran’s “Usage” outlook, a handful of players always emerge with vastly improve fantasy football outlooks.

The 2019 NFL Draft was no different, and The Wolf and Truth are here to break down the 11 Biggest Fantasy Football Risers, including fire takes on:

  • Marlon Mack and the fantasy upside that comes with his locked-in “three down” status
  • Damien Williams and his chances at yielding RB1 value without major competition added (outside Carlos Hyde… who’s an enormous bargain in his own right)
  • Kenyan Drake’s chances at realizing his limitless ceiling
  • Peyton Barber as a guy Bruce Arians surprisingly wants to “build around”
  • Leonard Fournette… and why we’re no longer full-out avoiding him
  • Lamar Miller, D’Onta Foreman, and the upside of whoever emerges as the Texans’ top-RB (please be Foreman)
  • Why Joe Mixon and Dalvin Cook are knocking on the door to the elite even harder after the 2019 Draft
  • Devonta Freeman and the sneaky “unsexy upside” he now drips in

The Fantasy Football Stock Market is finally settling, and you can’t miss the Veteran Risers who you should now be targeting.

The 49ers were among 2018’s most disappointing teams, yet they still boast plenty of fantasy football intrigue in 2019. To break down San Francisco’s fantasy products, we welcome on Grant Cohn (@GrantCohn), 49ers Insider for the Santa Rosa Press Democrat, for the third time. Per usual, his takes are bold and scorching, and could again benefit fantasy owners huge. These include:

  • Coming off a torn-ACL, What will Jimmy Garoppolo bring to the table? Is he truly franchise material, and what can fantasy owners expect if he strings together 16 games?
  • With new weaponry in Deebo Samuel and Jalen Hurd, how will targets shake out in San Francisco? Is Dante Pettis still as sexy of a sleeper, or could a rookie (or someone deeper) steal his spotlight?
  • Is this backfield the true three-headed nightmare it appears to be? Which of Tevin Coleman, Jerick McKinnon, and Matt Breida make the best fantasy selection?
  • Could George Kittle be even better in 2019? What major red flag should fantasy owners be sure to remember?
  • Who is Rich Scangarello, and what will he be bringing to the Broncos as an OC?
  • Will the 49ers rebound after their hideous season, and what can we expect for a record?

Cohn again brings the heat, and this 49ers Preview is must-listen material for fans of the team or fantasy.

The Arizona Cardinals made one thing clear during the 2019 NFL Draft: they are ALL in on Kliff Kingsbury and his Air Raid Offense. This scheme has been a points factory in college for years, and we bring on Washington State coach Drew Hollingshead to go deeper than ever before.

Hollingshead, who played under Kingsbury at Houston and now coaches with Mike “Air Raid Godfather” Leach at WSU, can anticipate Kingsbury’s innovation as well as anybody. The Wolf of RSJ picks his brain for nuggets on this schemes staples, Kingsbury’s trends, how this newly stacked weapons cabinet all fit in.

In this exclusive interview, you’ll learn:

-The philosophy and core staples of the Air Raid Offense

-If Kingsbury will be truly “All-In on the Air Raid”

-Why Kyler Murray went No.1 Overall, and why he’s perfect for Kingsbury’s attack

-How both the veterans (Larry Fitzgerald, Christian Kirk) and new additions (Andy Isabella, Hakeem Butler) will all be used… and who should rack up the best numbers

-Why past fantasy megastar David Johnson could return to his dominant RB1 workhorse ways as Kingsbury’s offensive centerpiece

-If the line will lock down the Air Raid’s sky-high potential

Air Raid access doesn’t get more “insider” than Hollingshead. Any football fan -- college, NFL, and especially fantasy -- should go inside on this exclusive episode of “On the Fantasy Beat.”

How DK Metcalf’s insane physical gifts will be maximized with Russel Wilson and the Seahawks

How Miles Sanders may be talented enough to buck the Eagles committee trends.

Can Mecole Hardman fill the Tyreek Hill role in Kansas City, and just how high is Parris Campbell’s upside with the Colts?

Plus, why is Darrell Henderson the best handcuff in all of fantasy football, and could TJ Hockenson really be the “Next Gronk?”

Here at The Fullback Dive, we’re not going to wait until August to go “All-In” for our fantasy football predictions. Just like with Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill last January, there’s a handful of players we feel so strongly about, we’re willing shoving all the chips in already.

Some names, like Baker Mayfield, Dalvin Cook, and OJ Howard won’t surprise long-term listeners. But what other QB can you draft as your backup, but receive serious Top-Five upside from? Which four breakout WRs will The Wolf own in every single league? Which backfield is going to yield a Top-7 RB, but only cost you a mid and late round pick? And which two 100+ ADP Tight Ends could be this year’s George Kittle?

All this, plus a breakdown of the massive fantasy implications of Rob Gronkowski’s retirement and Jared Cook’s move to the Saints, make this an absolute must-listen.

Plus, why are Golden Tate, Gus Edwards, LeSean McCoy, and Tyrell Williams all falling in our eyes?

Last but not least, we hit the Fantasy Penny Stocks. What should we make of Mike Davis in Chicago? Can Donte Moncrief ever realize his true ceiling? Who will be Case Keenum’s next “Slot Slut”? Plus, some rapid-fire takes on Devin Funchess, Breshad Perriman, Maurice Harris and Bruce Ellington bring an All-Time Podcast home. Odell Beckham, Antonio Brown, and Le’Veon Bell, Oh My! In less than a week, all three of these fantasy football megastars have found new homes, and the implications are massive -- both for themselves, their new teammates, and the ones they leave behind.

And how about Antonio Brown now in Oakland -- is his value ruined? Why could he be the same fantasy megastar we’ve loved under Jon Gruden? Who would we rather have -- JuJu Smith Schuster or AB? Who else could gobble up the massive Air Yards now available in Pittsburgh?

Lastly - Le’Veon Bell is now on the Jets. What is his value in this new home? Is there actually some sneaky upside with Adam Gase calling the shots, even after the horrible Dolphins’ backfields these last few years? Could the Jets be building a sneaky juggernaut?

Punctuated by the Cardinals hire of Kliff Kingsbury, the “Air Raid” offense is slowly but surely making its way into the NFL. To teach fantasy football owners all they need to know about this high-powered attack, we host Washington State University quality control coach Drew Hollingshead (@WSUCoachDrew). Coach Drew been learning under “Air Raid Guru” Mike Leach for years now, and even played for Kingsbury in Houston. Simply put - he knows the Air Raid better than nearly everyone.

First, we paint the general picture: what are the staples of this Air Raid attack? How are the different weapons used, and what does an offense need to succeed? Why has it been so slow to transition to the NFL, and will it work at this level?  Is it here to stay?

Then, we dig into Kingsbury and the Cardinals specifically. Will this offense actually help David Johnson? Can Larry Fitzgerald still get it done, or is Christian Kirk the better bet? Plus, will Todd Monken continue to bomb the NFL in Cleveland, and what does this mean for Baker Mayfield?

This is as close to the inside of an Air Raid attack you can get, so gain an edge few in fantasy football will have! Hollingshead is fantastic, and this interview is crucial for all NFL fans wanting to learn more about the newest attack they’ll see for years to come.

It’s official: Fantasy Football Drafts are here!

Though we don’t recommend drafting until after Preseason Week 3, we fully understand plenty of psychos are already full-steam ahead. This includes our own Truth, and we begin Episode 30 by looking at his Keeper League Draft.

Though we preach “Building a Stable of Horses” as our favorite approach to 2018 drafts, The Truth found himself in a pickle after keeping DeAndre Hopkins and Rob Gronkowski. Find out how an unintentional “Zero-RB” Draft unfolded, and a new “Stock Tip” that emerged from our conversation: The 50% Rule. This is a crucial mindset and way of framing fantasy, so don’t miss this strategy-filled conversation.

But this is just the warm-up. Our Featured segment centers around breaking down Preseason Week 2: Risers, Fallers, and Sleepers. Perhaps more than any other Preseason, we’ve seen some massive fantasy value changes in 2018. This is especially true for Christian McCaffrey, Jimmy Graham, Trey Burton, Carlos Hyde, and so many more risers after Week 2, as well as fallers like Ronald Jones and Sammy Watkins. We touch upon some key Penny Stocks as well, in particular highlighting James White and why he offers enormous upside at his bottom-barrel price.

As always, we also continue two recurring segments: The Stock Watch and Tier Jerkers. On a shorter Stock Watch, we cover:

--Adrian Peterson’s potential value with the Redskins

--Peyton Barber’s strengthening grip on the Bucs’ starting RB role

--Ben Watson and his “Under Armour Mannequin” physique

Plus, in Tier Jerkers, our own Roto Joe is back, this time to break down 2018’s Tight End scene. While we recognize Rob Gronkowski, Travis Kelce, and Zach Ertz all form a vaunted “Big Three,” there’s still plenty of midround TE1 candidates that could explode and join this bunch.  Thus, to help you make the right decision if you miss on the elite, Wolf and Joe run through the ceilings and floors, as well as their rankings, of Evan Engram, Jimmy Graham, Delanie Walker, Greg Olsen, Kyle Rudolph, and *gasp* newly-added Trey Burton.

We wrap up with a packed mailbag, covering our strategy with D/ST, a brutal keeper decision involving Doug Baldwin and Zach Ertz, our reevaluated Rookie RB rankings, and a keeper choice that sheds light on going for a sure-thing at lesser value (Fournette in Round 3), or the potential homerun with enormous value upside.  (Collins in 14).

This Episode is completely jam-packed, and a necessity for any Fantasy Football Fan preparing for their 2018 Draft.

Aug 22, 2018

Fresh off debuting his new cutting-edge Fantasy Football site The Quantedge, industry legend Eliot Crist (@EliotCrist) brings his game-changing analytics and keen film eye to The Wolf’s Den for some hard-hitting rankings analysis.

Crist and The Wolf first share some agreements on some bolder rankings, beginning with Jarvis Landry and why he’s among the best bargains in Fantasy Football. The pair then breaks down the targets he left behind in Miami, and how Kenny Stills is being completely overlooked as the likely new No.1 target on a team that’ll need to take to the air early and often. Last, they look at Mitch Trubisky’s upside in Matt Nagy’s offense, and detail why he is the ideal late-round QB2 candidate.

But then the gloves come on, and it’s time to duke it out. The Wolf feels Crist is too high on Kerryon Johnson, and Crist brings some big counter punches as to why this isn’t the case. The pair then look at Jay Ajayi, who The Wolf expects a massive rebound and high workshare from, but Crist isn’t buying it. Lastly, Crist explains why Jimmy Graham is overrated by The Wolf, while our host goes in-depth for why the Aaron Rodgers - Graham connection has more upside than most are recognizing right now.

This fire interview then wraps up with one of our strongest “No Huddle Offense” segments yet. From who belongs No.1 in drafts, to the most undervalued and overvalued at each position, to early-round season ruiners and late round “Penny Stocks,” we cover all stages of the draft with Crist’s bold but well-reasoned takes. In the process, we get a Rob Gronkowski rant that may just sway you to take him in Round 1 in every league.

Simply put, the Wolf’s Den was blazing with fire takes, and you can’t miss them… unless you enjoy sheepish 6th place finishes.

As a consistent points factory under Sean Payton and Drew Brees, the Saints are always among the NFL’s most fantasy relevant team each year. In fact, the Saints have finished within the Top-10 in Total Points in 9 of 11 total seasons with these two, including 6 finishes in the Top 5. As such, we go right to the source to breakdown this crucial offense by welcoming on The New Orleans Advocate’s Nick Underhill.

First, we dive into Mark Ingram’s 4-game suspension for PEDs, and the massive fantasy implications this could have on him and the rest of the roster. Find out how rookie sensation Alvin Kamara could be impacted, as well as who could fill the “Big Back” role over the four-game absence (and why this is so crucial to know).

Plus, after ranking in the Top.7 in Passing Play Percentage for seven straight years, the Saints fell all the way to 20th in 2017 behind a high-powered running game. Underhill breaks down why this switch happened, and if we should expect more of the same in 2018. On the passing game front, Underhill breaks down:

--How Michael Thomas looks even more dominant in camp but could still regress statistically.
--New weapon Cam Meredith’s fit and upside in this attack… if he could just get healthy
--Why Ben Watson remains a fantastic fantasy TE even at 37 years old
--How explosive rookie WR Tre’Quan Smith is looking in camp, and the type of ability he brings to this overall attack

Plus, Underhill lays out his predictions for the Saints 2018 season, as well as how the NFC South will play out. Few beat writers are more in-tune or accurate than Underhill, and this is a true must-listen for Fantasy and Saints fans alike.

As promised, we stay in-division for Round 2 of “On The Fantasy Beat,” this time looking at the Giants revamped offense under Pat Shurmur, and how the many exciting pieces (Odell Beckham, Saquon Barkley, Evan Engram and Sterling Shepard) all fit in. To do so, we welcome in Giants Insider and PFF analyst Dan Schneier, who’s impressive resume includes Giants coverage for 247Sports and CBS Sports, as well as fantasy for Pro Football Focus, and his own Giants Podcast, “Big Blue Banter.”

Before diving into specific players and their expected roles, Schneir gives us an excellent breakdown of Shurmur’s overall offense. Learn why it’s being compared to “musical chairs,” and how this offense will create mismatch nightmares if executed properly. Then, we dive into the big names. How’s Odell Beckham looking post surgery, and fitting into this overall scheme? What’s rookie Saquon Barkley bringing to the table, and will he be the next great “Shurmur Bellcow?” Is Evan Engram set for an even more impressive sophomore campaign after his major rookie splash, and what different ways is Shurmur using him? Plus, should Sterling Shepard be as far under the radar as he is, and can Eli Manning sustain all these fantasy products?

Then, Schneier shares his NFC East Predictions, before bringing his PFF Fantasy Background to our “No Huddle Fantasy Offense.” Here, it’s clear Schneier is equally versed in the virtual gridiron as he is with the Giants, as he powers through question after question with in-depth analysis and hot takes on potential season winners, losers, and major sleepers. This podcast is must listen material for all Giants and fantasy football fans alike, so don’t miss out!

We are thrilled to debut our “On The Fantasy Beat” series tonight, where we go straight to the source for all your most pressing fantasy questions. This year we’ll be pairing guest beats by division to get different perspectives on their biggest rivals as well, and we start in the NFC East and the Cowboys. With a completely overhauled offense, Dallas will bring a whole new fantasy look to the table. To try and make sense of it, and find the most valuable fantasy nuggets, The Wolf and Truth welcome the returning RJ Ochoa. RJ covers all things Dallas Cowboys for @BloggingTheBoys, hosts the excellent Cowboys Pod @OchoLive, and Co-hosts The Saturday Morning Hangover on ESPN San Antonio.

With Dez Bryant and Jason Witten gone, 272 targets (56%) and 2,645 air yards (68.8%) have been opened up. But before we dive into the new faces and how that might be filled, we first look at the let’s engine of this offense -- Ezekiel Elliott.  Will his role expand, and his underrated pass-catching flourish, with so much air volume up for grabs?

We then turn our attention to the pass-catching corps, discussing rookie WR Michael Gallup’s impressive play and the type of role he’s carving out, whether Tavon Austin is really a thing, and if any Target Hogs seem likely to emerge between these two and Allen Hurns. Plus, with lots of buzz surrounding Blake Jarwin, we dive into his potential Penny Stock TE upside, and then figure out if there’s any hope for Dak Prescott with such a mismatch receiving corps.

We then get RJ’s Prediction of how the NFC East will unfold, before firing him through our Fantasy No Huddle Offense, considering he’s a big time player himself. Don’t miss his RJ’s insider Cowboys takes and excellent fantasy lens in this excellent “On The Fantasy Beat” Debut.

The fantasy football season is hurtling towards us like Eddie Lacy towards a free buffet of crab rangoon, with Preseason Week 1 officially in the books. Anyone who says, “The Preseason doesn’t matter!” is a true sheep, as Fantasy Wolves consider all possible evidence.

From rapport building, to role development and unexpected usage, to overall team performances and glimpses at new schemes, plenty of important trends emerge that cannot be ignored. The Wolf and Truth read you all the headlines from our Preseason Week 1 Risers, Fallers, and Penny Stocks Recap, before diving in for a few more in depth  to preview the piece. And yes, we talk about Cam Newton and Kelvin Benjamin's pre-game confrontation (before discussing Benjamin’s sneaky Target Hog upside).

Plus, we tackle a jam packed stock watch featuring:

  • Alshon Jeffery’s injury and what it means for the other pass-catchers in Philadelphia
  • Jerick McKinnon’s injury and his stock now with Alfred Morris in San Francisco -- and what Morris himself could bring to the table
  • Developments in the ever-valuable Saints' backup RB story, which will make it even easier to select Mark Ingram at his steal price.
  • Bears Passing Game Developments -- who’s emerging as the top targets, and will Mitch Trubisky’s play allow it to matter?
  • John Brown’s Rising Penny Stock Value
  • A Saquon Barkley scare.

Plus, as has become tradition, Roto Joe is back for another round of Tier Jerkers. Here, the boys break down the 3rd Round(ish) RB scene--he and the Wolf rank McCaffrey, Collins, Henry, Ajayi, and Mixon for your drafting pleasure. Both Joe and Wolf differ vastly in their organization of this tier, so find out where and why certain players are higher or lower.

The pod is wrapped up with a couple of items from the mailbag, including what to do with your 2nd and 3rd Round Picks if drafting No.1 overall, as well as a QB question circling on Jared Goff and Deshaun Watson.

Bargains, Overprices, Penny Stocks, oh my! With our 2018 Preseason Kickoff Guide officially launched, The Wolf and Truth take a look inside the guide. (Unlike our last guest *cough* Field *cough*), we bring some bold predictions on the players who will be bring insane value at their currently discounted prices, who’ll bust at their current asking rates, and what guys go beyond 120 but could genuinely explode in 2018 -- for the record, we hit on Alvin Kamara and Marvin Jones as Penny Stocks last year.

In the process, we dig into Evan Engram and the enormous edge he can bring at his Round 5-6 price. We look at last year’s Texans offense, and why, even with some inevitable regression, this team will still be a juggernaut… and find you a way to get a very healthy piece of it in Round 8. We discuss why last year’s No.1 QB is actually heavily overrated, and how Christian McCaffrey going at 18th overall is a complete reach. Last, we visit Minnesota and New Orleans to unlock two names who could absolutely blow-up despite going beyond Pick 130.

Plus, with just a few days before Preseason Action, some major news is breaking that has major fantasy football implications. We cover:

-- Sony Michel’s knee injury, and what this means for Rex Burkhead (and why it’s not the immediate positive people might assume, despite a volume spike).
--Jarvis Landry’s role in Cleveland, and how he’s an emerging Target Hog with an insane ADP.
--What Corey Coleman’s new value could be in Buffalo, and how he still possesses real “Penny Stock Upside”
--Plus, some rapid fire blurbs covering the Cowboy’s offensive struggles, Cordarelle Patterson, Kenyan Drake, Marlon Mack, and Mike Gesicki.

Plus, with drafts fast approaching, we debut the “Tier Jerkers” with our guy Roto Joe. Any good ranking set are made as “Tiers” -- or similarly grouped fantasy values, which helps project positional and overall drop-offs, and make an overall Big Board much easier to make and navigate. Still, whether last week’s big-name guest likes it or not, when your on the clock, you’re not picking a group, you need a player. As such, this segment covers those brutal “Tiers” of players that cause legitimate tears to be jerked out of our bodies, and the sleepless nights that come with us screaming into our pillows.

This episode, we open the series with “The Round 2 WRs” (Keenan Allen, Davante Adams, Mike Evans, and AJ Green), breaking down the ceilings and floors of each prospect, before making a final ranking of each group. Who tops both Wolf and Roto Joe’s lists, but Truth wouldn’t touch? Why is Mike Evans at the bottom of one list and ranked second on another? Are we way too down on the Bengals offense?
This episode is completely loaded with invaluable insights for your draft, and the bold predictions you’ve come to love from the Fullback Dive (and may have missed last Episode). The lead-blocks are only getting better, and this is a true can’t miss.

Aug 8, 2018

We only welcome the boldest, most informed Wolves into our den, and we lead off our Training Camp with perhaps the most in-tune analyst of them all: ESPN’s Field Yates.

Yates opens with some breaking news around Doug Baldwin’s health and who could step up in his absence, plus Eric Decker and his potential fit with the Patriots. Then, we go into the den. First, the boys discuss some of their bolder agreements, including a shared loved for Derrius Guice, Jerick McKinnon, Marquise Goodwin, and Julian Edelman, as well as the uncommon ranking of Michael Thomas ahead of Julio Jones.

The claws then come out, as The Wolf calls out some mistakes he sees in Yates rankings. From being too low on Corey Davis, Rex Burkhead, and Tarik Cohen, to a little too high on Dak Prescott, Yates defends his rankings against some hot Wolf Takes.

Plus, the Truth and Wolf run down another jam-packed stock watch, covering:

Why Derrius Guice continues rising even further -- all the way up to The Wolf’s second round
The state of the Patriots pass-catching corps with Eric Decker now here
The state of the Seahawks pass-catch corps with Doug Baldwin currently gone (and where he ranks)
The latest on the Colts backfield, and who we would target, and fade, from this mess
Why Marquise Goodwin will be one of fantasy’s top bargains
How Jordy Nelson is looking early in camp
If we buy that Christian McCaffrey will see 25-30 touches (lol, no)

Between arguably our biggest guest ever, some crucial breaking news, and insane rankings insight, this episode is among our best yet. If you’re a fantasy football fan, you can’t miss it!

Aug 1, 2018

In anticipation for our 2018 Training Camp Kickoff Fantasy Guide, the RSJ assembled our brightest fantasy minds for our first full-staff Mock Draft of the season. Needless to say, the action was fast, furious, and, most importantly, very informative.

Roto Joe will be breaking down each and every pick in our guide, and he joins The Wolf and Truth to bring his hot takes to the pod. Simply put - you can't draft without hearing how ours unfolded and the lessons we learned from it.

Plus, with Training Camp now full in swing, the Stock Watch is all over the place. We look at news around Derrius Guice and Rashaad Penny, forcing us to reevaluate our original Rookie RB Rankings. We also discuss:

--Andrew Luck's early camp performance and what it means for this offense

--How Matt LaFleur's system is coming along and what pass-catchers are thriving in Tennessee

--The state of a wide-open Dolphins receiving corps, including a sneaky sleeper we feel could explode

--Why a more motivated Joe Flacco is crucial for fantasy football owners, even if you'll never draft the QB himself

Our pulverizing audio lead blocks have only gotten stronger, and we're peaking at the perfect time for fantasy owners. Be sure to listen and and Subscribe to never miss a single lead block from the Fantasy Fullback Dive.

The most glorious time of the year has arrived: Training Camp, aka Fantasy Prep Season!

Though many fantasy values are set, plenty of Burning Questions need answers that'll dramatically alter The Fantasy Landscape. From Backfield Battles, to Target Totem Poles to every health and new fit question mark in between, we dive into The Wolf's Top Five Burning Questions, outlining:

A) The Teams and their Burning Questions
B) Why Fantasy Owners need to know these answers
C) What we already know about the situation
C) Predictions on how the situations will unfold

In the process, we visit New England to dive into the crowded backfield and unclear wideout situation of this consistent juggernaut.

We then travel to Tennessee, where Matt LaFleur is insistent on "marrying the run / pass games" and has two talented backs to do just this -- but an unclear workload distribution remains.

Our next stop's all over the map, where we breakdown Rookie RBs who remain behind less inspiring incumbents, but could easily ascend. From Royce Freeman's outlook in Denver, to Rashaad Penny's shot at a workhorse role, to Kerryon Johnson's place in a four-headed committee, and Ronald Jones' expected work in Tampa Bay, tons of Backfield Battles linger that need solving.

Afterwards, we do a roundtable on crucial QB Health Issues, diving into Deshaun Watson, Andrew Luck, and Carson Wentz. We break down when they're expected back, and the major impact all have on their offenses.

Last but not least is our apparently new favorite squad and the star of Hard Knocks -- the Cleveland Browns. This squad team is loaded with questions, which will make the HBO Special not only entertaining, but crucial to monitor. From QB and RB battles, to major WR question marks, there's tons of uncertainty with major implications here.

Plus, with Training Camps kicking off, news has been pouring in -- none bigger than Josh Gordon's absence from camp. We dig into the Fantasy Implications of this, as well as notes on:

--Leonard Fournette's weight loss
--Mitch Trubisky's early camp performance
--Chris Carson and the Seattle RB Depth Chart
--Jordan Howard and his hands
--LeSean McCoy's latest

Clearly, this Episode is absolutely brimming with information, so don't enter Training Camp without this enormous refresher and primer -- it's a true can't miss.

Every season huge fantasy values emerge because an entire offense takes a massive leap forward -- look no further than the 2017 Rams, who went from last in scoring all the way to first. Todd Gurley became a fantasy MVP in the process, while Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp were undrafted WRs who became quality season-long starters.

After tons of exciting play-caller movement, 2018 is littered with teams who could be this year’s Rams. Our two favorites?

The Bears (29th in scoring last season) and Browns (32nd).

Though both Matt Nagy and Todd Haley were covered in our Coaching Carousel Episode (FFBDPod 22), we go in far greater depth for both offenses here. Find out why Tyrod Taylor and Mitch Trubisky are two of the top late-round QBs in the game, why both Browns’ WRs make excellent fantasy values, how the Bears backfield will take the league by storm, and so much more as we dive into each and every relevant player on both teams.

Plus, with Training Camp on the horizon, the news has been fast and furious. Thus we check in on our Stock Watch, for updates on:

-- Le’Veon Bell’s potential holdout
-- LeSean McCoy’s disturbing situation
-- The Green Bay Backfield Mystery

Plus emerging penny stocks like

-- DJ Moore and the (meh) upside of being Carolina’s Top WR
-- A creature named Blaine Jarwin that might lead Dallas in receiving TDs

This episode is completely loaded… and with many drafts a mere month away, you can’t afford to miss any of it.

Jul 11, 2018

As explored last week, 12 new HC's or OC's calling plays in 2018.  As Todd Gurley's additional 881 yards and 13 TDs on just 22 more touches under Sean McVay show, proper usage can be all the difference in fantasy. Most often, this boils down to the coaching scheme.

Unfortunately, very few -- if any -- fantasy football sites analyze these coaching changes, at least not with the depth of analysis they deserve.

That is... until now.

The Roto Street Journal is incredibly proud to present the first-ever (FREE) Fantasy Football Coaching Carousel: The Most Comprehensive Guide to 2018's New Offenses.

While the guide features over 100 pages of Schematics, OTA Breakdowns, Past Player Production and Trends, and Future Predictions and Team Previews, we can only fit just a little taste into the FFBDPod; a tasty little appetizer before the main course guide.

In Part 1, we broke down the four new play-calling HC's (Matt Nagy, Pat Shurmur, Jon Gruden and Frank Reich) plus new Cleveland OC Todd Haley.  For Part 2, we dive into the remaining new OCs: John DeFilippo, Norv Turner, Mike McCoy, and Matt LaFleur.

To reign The Wolf in, The Truth gives him 2 total minutes per coach: 1 minute to break down their scheme and philosophies, and 1 minute to pick the one player who'll be most impacted in 2018. This segment features can't miss takes on all the new schemes, plus how Kyle Rudolph, Cam Newton, Larry Fitzgerald, and the Titans RBs (Dion Lewis and Derrick Henry) all stand to benefit the most on their respective teams.

Also - with OTAs wrapped up, The Wolf and Truth sift through the five most important notes we haven't yet discussed. In the process, we break down Robert Turbin's four-game suspension (and what it means for Marlon Mack), how Blake Bortles is progressing in Nathaniel Hackett's offense in Year Two, how his former target Allen Hurns is primed for a No.1 WR role, how Tyrod Taylor's gaining leash as a starter which makes him an insane value, and notes that justify Deshaun Watson is our No.1 Ranked QB.

If you haven't paid any attention to the new hires, Part 1 and Part 2 are must listens, and our Coaching Carousel Guide is an actual Godsend. Make sure to tune in to one of our best mini-series yet, and let us know your thoughts by leaving a rating and a review!

With 12 new HC's or OC's calling plays in 2018, the Coaching Carousel has been spinning at record speed this offseason.

And, as Todd Gurley and the LA Rams made clear last season, knowing what each new coach brings to the table is absolutely essential (unless you don't care about 881 more yards and 13 more TDs on just 22 additional touches).

In Part 1, we begin by discussing the four new play-calling HC's (Matt Nagy, Pat Shurmur, Jon Gruden and Frank Reich) plus new Cleveland OC Todd Haley. To reign The Wolf in, The Truth gives him 2 total minutes per coach: 1 minute to break down their scheme and philosophies, and 1 minute to pick the one player who'll be most impacted in 2018. This segment features can't miss takes on all the new schemes, plus how Saquon Barkley, Tarik Cohen, Amari Cooper, Andrew Luck, and Josh Gordon all stand to benefit immensely.

With lots of news breaking on Rookie RBs and their potential to steal starting roles, The Wolf and Truth also bring up the Rookie Radar. What's the latest on Derrius Guice, Nick Chubb, and Royce Freeman, and what does it mean for you fantasy owners? (Plus, why does The Truth decide to unleash hell on whoever ESPN's Pat McManamon is?)

This Episode, and our Coaching Carousel Guide, are actual Godsends if you haven't paid any attention to the new hires. Make sure to tune in to one of our best shows ever, and let us know your thoughts below!

You look down at Pocket Aces, slide all your chips across the table, and smugly declare, "All-In."

Episode 21 is dedicated to all of 2018's Fantasy Football Players who fill us with the same kind of exhilaration and confidence. The guys we're willing to bet the house on without a second thought. The guys we absolutely need on our teams... and would feel disgusted to see rostered by our rivals.

Most often, these players are the screaming bargains who are going rounds later than they deserve. Sometimes, they're priced appropriately but are just drip in so much upside we need to have them.

In 2016, David Johnson was our No.1 "All-In" candidate, as we screamed from mountain tops that he needed to go 2nd overall after his explosive rookie finish. Last year, Tyreek Hill was the guy we couldn't stop raving about.

Now, we're giving you a whole team.

We separate the "All-In Team" by draft slot, breaking down Early Round, Middle Round, and Late Round guys we must have, covering multiple options at all positions.

Plus, we return with a "Stock Tip of the Day" with one of fantasy's most important strategies: waiting to draft your QB. Find out why the "Stock Market" approach to fantasy makes waiting on QB a necessity, not an option... and who to target in those later rounds.

Just to make sure you can confidently execute Waiting on a QB, we drop another Fantasy Stock Profile on our favorite QB Bargain of 2018... and possibly the biggest steal in all of fantasy this season.

Between a host of "All-In" Players, a necessary Fantasy Strategy, and a key Stock Profile, Episode 21 can't be missed. Keep following our lead block as we pave your way to Fantasy Football Titles in 2018.

Jun 11, 2018

Last week in Episode 19, we revealed The Fantasy Stock Formula. The Wolf uses this to grade every single one of our Top 100 players, and the system is truly the backbone to our rankings and analysis — making this a must-listen if you’re a FFBPod and/or Roto Street fan.

One Episode later, we dive in even deeper to The Wolf’s 2018
Player Grades by welcoming on three Roto Street Expert Mainstays: CJay, JimboSlice, and, making his FFBDPod debut from Indianapolis, Roto Joe. All three come at The Wolf hard, asking demanding questions ranging from:

—Why JuJu Smith is grading as a Top-12 WR
—Why Cam Meredith is one of the top “Penny Stocks” in 2018
—Is Kelvin Benjamin actually too low with massive volume coming his way?
—The Patriots WRs (pre-Edelman’s suspension, though still highly relevant)
—Derrick Henry and how he compares to a host of other upside RB2s
—Why isn’t Antonio Brown perfect?
— Is Mahomes way too high… and Tom Brady way too low?
—What makes Leonard Fournette riskier than you’d imagine

Just to name a handful. This Episode is loaded with a variety of fire takes all over the fantasy map, while including an inside look at our system. Simply put, we’ve gone back-to-back on the can’t miss audio.

Any successful business or brand has at least one way of separating from the pack. A different approach or style that puts them above everyone else.

At Roto Street Journal, we believe our Fantasy Stock Formula is one our greatest edges over the industry -- there's simply no better way to evaluate future fantasy fortunes.

In Episode 19, we reveal our secret sauce.

Simple yet incredibly in-depth, the Fantasy Stock Formula grades out every player with the 6 Crucial Fantasy Football Value Indicators in mind:

--Individual Talent

--Usage

--Surrounding Talent

--Coaching Scheme

--Risk

--Upside

To open, The Wolf and Truth dive into how we evaluate and grade each category, and breakdown why each variable is essential to fantasy value.

Moreover, we break down the logic behind our new "Category Weights," and why some Indicators (re: Talent and Usage) are worth more than others.

Soon after, things get heated.

While The Truth may agree with the formula, he and The Wolf are way off in some grading decisions. Find out why Tyreek Hill, Odell Beckham, Kirk Cousins, Big Ben, Leonard Fournette and Mr. Glass himself Jordan Reed are all major points of contention.

No other episode brings you truly behind the scenes quite and reveals are "backbone" quite like this, making Episode 19 a monumental must-listen.

Part 4

In a fire finale episode to our 2018 NFL Draft Fantasy Football Four Pack, we package together all the incredible insight and takes from our interviews with The Fantasy Footballers’ Mike “The Hitman” Wright (Ep. 15) and Pro Football Focus’ Scott Barrett (Ep. 160.  The Wolf digs into the most important lessons learned and ranking reconsiderations prompted by his tangos with two of the industry's best. We cover all the breaking news and the surrounding implications in our debuting Fantasy Stock Watch segment.

Meanwhile, we revisit all the Veteran Riser and Faller takes and cover all the necessary names left to discuss. Episode 16

Part 3:

In Part Three of our 2018 NFL Draft Fantasy Football Four Pack Mini-Series, The Wolf and Truth ecstatically invite Pro Football Focus Scott Barrett on as our second draft-dissecting Fantasy Wolf.  The King of "Metrics that Matter" and "#DankStats," Barrett is constantly uncovering game-changing, never-before-seen stats and trends to better illuminate the many factors that go into Fantasy Football success… and he brings all the Advanced Analytics to the FFBDPod in a can’t miss Episode 16.

We run Barrett through the same grueling script as Wright, uncovering some similar opinions, but far more variety in his takes. Why is Barrett down on this class as a whole? On the flip side, which 2 backs is he all-in on? Why is Derrius Guice completely overrated in Barrett’s mind while Nyheim Hines could be a steal? Barrett answers all of these and far more, bringing the unique analytics and stats only he and PFF can.

Just like Wright, Barrett also digs into the veteran pool, bringing some fantastic grading and breakdowns for who won and lost from a fantasy perspective. We dive deep into Alex Collins, Jay Ajayi, JuJu Smith Schuster, and many more in a must-listen breakdown of the NFL Draft.

Episode 15

In Part Two of our 2018 NFL Draft Fantasy Football Four Pack Mini-Series, The Wolf and Truth are thrilled to debut our 2018 Fantasy Wolves series with a fire interview with Mike “The Hitman” Wright of The Fantasy Footballers. As a co-founder of Fantasy Football's biggest, most award-winning podcast, Mike Wright has earned the title "The Fantasy Hitman" for his bold, hard-hitting takes that slay the competition. Thus, he was a natural choice for the first wolf to enter our den and slay the NFL Draft coverage.

We run The Hitman through some grueling interview questions to dig up this opinions and analysis on the 2018 NFL Draft's biggest storylines, primarily centered around this loaded 2018 Rookie RB Class.

We start at the top with Saquon Barkley, and hit upon every other relevant rookie from there. Who’s the next best pick in fantasy after Barkley? Is Derrius Guice set to be as beastly in the pros as he was in college? Is Sony Michel set to dominate in the explosive Patriots Offense? Which Rookie RBs should be avoided, and who’ll be the under-the-radar rookie pick who could change seasons?

Beyond the rookies, Wright also digs his teeth into the many veteran implications. Who does The Hitman consider the biggest risers and fallers following the draft, and why? Which bust is The Wolf definitely doubling-down on, and what fifth round WR is going to win people leagues?

Find out all this and so much more in a truly can’t miss interview.

The Fantasy Fullback Dive plows into Season 3 like an absolute sledgehammer, welcoming on the Godfather of Oregon Football: Charles Fischer

A fantasy sheep may ask, "Why would you invite a college analyst to the show, even if a mastermind?"

But a true wolf knows that exact answer: Mark Helfrich.

The former Oregon HC has joined Matt Nagy as the Bears Offensive Coordinator, forming one of the most intriguing coaching duos of 2018. Understanding just how much Helfrich brings to the table is crucial.

Though Nagy will be calling plays, Helfrich and his bright, innovative mind weren't brought in without reason. The college coach is regarded as a QB Guru -- one Marcus Mariota attributes everything to (according to Fischer). The new OC will undoubtedly be bringing plenty of Spread and Zone Concepts into Nagy's West Coast attack.

Thus, we bring in Fischer, who might know more about Helfrich and the Oregon Scheme than anyone who hasn't coached there (and maybe them too).

In arguably our most nitty gritty, "X's and O's" Interview of all time, Fischer digs in deep to every facet of Helfrich's attack. In the process, Fischer lays down the foundation, and The Wolf and Truth bring the fantasy hammer.

Feb 12, 2018

While we'd have preferred moving on, The Wolf and Truth had no choice but to stay in New England after all this week's wild news: Bill Belichick / Malcolm Butler, Josh McDaniels, Rob Gronkowski... really, the entire team have all been under the microscope. So we've brought in the big guns to bring some clarity.

In our Season 3 premiere, we're absolutely thrilled to welcome on WEEI's Lead Patriots Beat Writer Ryan Hannable to the show, and pepper him with the burning questions.

Hannable gives us all the insider scoops he's scoured from the normally tight-lipped Patriots. From Butler's benching to McDaniel's return to Gronk's retirement and every other personnel, injury, and free agency question in-between, we get leave no New England stone unturned.

Feb 6, 2018

The Truth tries to contain his smugness and The Wolf just tries to keep it together as the guys debrief Super Bowl 52, a thrilling 41-33 victory for the Eagles over the Patriots.

Jan 31, 2018

Super Bowl 52 is nearly upon us, which means us degenerate gamblers care about one thing: Prop Bets. Though the Coin Flip may be an infamous wager, many Props are far more scientific than a 50/50 shot. Trust that no one will dive in deeper than your FFBD boys, who break down all the stats; from Fourth Quarter outputs, to Pink's Hair Trends, to Belichick's shirt history, you'll be set to clean up serious $$ on some of the most entertaining bets of the year. RSJ mainstays and gambling gurus CJay, JimboSlice, and, for the first time ever, Keegs all make guest appearances to share their insight on a slew of bets. What huge odds could clean up big? What props do we consider locks to hammer big time? Just how many times will Tom Brady's age or Donald Trump be mentioned? Find out all this and our Super Bowl predictions in one of our most hilariously informative episodes yet.

Jan 17, 2018

The Coaching Carousel has begun spinning, and new Bears OC Matt Nagy is by far the most important to breakdown so far. What type of sense (if any) can owners make from this backfield, and should we be buying all the Rex Burkhead hype? Is Rob Gronkowski moving around OK, and is he still worthy of the #1 TE spot? Plus, on a non-fantasy note, what can New Englanders expect with Jimmy Garropollo next offseason, based on Hannable’s exclusive information from his QB coach?

But first, The Wolf and Truth breakdown what projects to be an offensive juggernaut, as records could truly be chased here. Find out why The (admittedly biased) Wolf feels Brady could have a season for the ages, and how this could alter our approach to drafting QBs. Plus, find out where all the scoring will funnel as we break down the surrounding pieces here in New England.

The Roto Street Journal is thrilled to open up our Fantasy Team Previews with the San Francisco 49ers -- perhaps not the flashiest team around, but highly crucial for fantasy owners to understand. To give you the most inside and in-depth information, we welcome Grant Cohn of the Press Democrat, who comes in scorching hot with his incredible football IQ and some outside-the-box takes based on early OTA developments and whisperings. What makes Kyle Shanahan’s running game so effective? How is Carlos Hyde going to fit? Are there any sleeper backs to consider late? Is Pierre Garcon’s reunion with Shanahan as magical as everyone expects? Plus, what sleeper backs and receivers are worth throwing on the late-round Penny Stock list? Grant holds nothing back, and will get you the inside scoops you can’t hear anywhere else.

Plus, The Wolf and Truth breakdown Kyle Shanahan’s coaching history to identify crucial trends to know for Fantasy Football 2017. The Wolf and Truth return for the third and final part of our 2017 Fantasy Football Running Back preview; if you haven't heard Parts 1 and 2, don't miss RBs 1- 17 in Episode 8 and RBs 18-36 in Episode 9. In Part 3, we discuss "Penny Stocks" and the best strategies for late round drafting, before discussing which late round RBs will maximize your team's upside at minimal cost. We look at talent trapped in muddy depth charts (Hello, Joe Williams and Jamaal Charles), elite handcuffs (Derrick Henry, anyone?), and parts of explosive offenses (New England pass catching backs).

But first, we are thrilled to welcome in Simply_Shamus live, as we breakdown all the arousing news surrounding some breakout, "Penny Stock" WR candidates. Are we buying in on the hype surrounding Devante Parker, Breshad Perriman, and Josh Doctson? Plus, HOW many carries should we expect for Jay Ajayi?! We also discuss some turmoil over at The RSJ, drinking pickle juice, aerial pies, and The Tub Club taking over Walmart on Motorized Scooters.

The Wolf and Truth are back for Part II of our information-packed 2017 Running Back preview. After tackling Tiers 1-3 (RBs 1-17) in Part I, the boys dig into Tiers 4 + 5 (RBs 18 - 30), covering the remaining RB2s and flex rushers. Who is The Wolf nearly 20 spots higher on than the "expert" consensus? Why is CJ Anderson among the most overrated fantasy running backs in the game? What should we expect out of Detroit's Backfield? Don't miss the answers to all these questions and many more.

What rookies are our favorites to make an impact on the fantasy field this season?  What exactly does Julio Jones have that the Wolf doesn’t have?  Can Simply Shamus possibly get us excited when 3 of his 4 Football Fantasies are about Miami Dolphins?  Along those lines, how much exactly do we really know about dolphin sex?  These questions and more will be answered on Episode 7 of the Fantasy Fullback Dive, brought to you by the Roto Street Journal.

After a lull in free agency, this week featured a flurry of RB moves. From Adrian Peterson landing with the Saints, to Marshawn Lynch with the Raiders, and Mike Gillislee's signing with the Patriots, the running back position is vastly different. As such, we release our-own "Fantasy Stock Formula" to break down every relevant angle and determining the true fantasy value of each back (all beginning at 33:27).

Before this, we catch up after a week off, which, of course, leads to  discussions of The Wolf being approached by lesser TV dating shows (2:15) and The Truth (as resident, tech-dumb dad) complaining about his auto-correcting smartphone (9:11). We are then thrilled to welcome our first Football Fantasy guest reader, our own Shamus (10:48). After his brilliant readings, we discuss the importance of news on Spencer Ware, Ty Montgomery, Derek Carr, and Terrelle Pryor.  Keep ahead all offseason and listen now!

Apr 14, 2017

Who's really going to be the top dog at WR for the Redskins this season between Crowder and Pryor?  What can we really expect from Jordan Reed or the Washington backfield?  Grant Paulsen from 106.7 The Fan and Fox 5 DC has some bold predictions about these things and more.  But first...

The Truth briefly takes the Wolf down memory lane to 1983 when Michael Jackson’s Thriller LP was everywhere and Velcro shoes were brand new and all the rage.  Football Fantasies are back and sexier than ever, and the guys argue about each other’s obsessions with David Johnson and Jamaal Charles.  We are thrilled to welcome Grant Paulsen from 106.7 The Fan and Fox 5 DC for a great interview.  And finally, the Wolf gives us his winners and losers at the WR position after the first wave of free agency.

Finally, we welcome CBS's senior draft analyst Dane Brugler to the show (44:40) and get his thoughts on everything from what he thinks of some of the top RBs and WRs in the draft to whether he'd rather let Marshawn Lynch run him over full speed or become a die hard Red Sox fan.

Check it out!

After going through a major revamp, the Roto Street Journal is thrilled to debut our newest creation: the Fantasy Fullback Dive.  The Truth and Wolf are back with a clear focus on what you crave most: football.  With an in-depth interview diving us deep into the Saints beat scene, a breakdown of the fantasy free agency fallout on Quarterbacks, and some important news surrounding big name talents like David Johnson, Jordan Reed, and, everyone’s favorite Rex Burkhead, Episode One is truly can’t miss stuff for the fantasy football addict.

A bromantic reunion of our two hosts leads into a discussion of the podcast rebrand -- why Fullback Dive? What should you all expect moving forward?  We then turn our attention to the “Football Fantasies,” which inevitably spurns an off-tangent rant on Viagra single packs (8:42) to lead into some news blurbs that made us tingle (9:56).  From here, we welcome on Nick Underhill, the New Orleans Advocate’s lead Saint beats guy, for a breakdown of one of fantasy’s juggernaut offenses (22:58). What should we expect from Michael Thomas with Brandin Cooks now gone? And what will Cooks bring to New England? Will this defense ever improve, and what do we expect out of the backfield?  Finally, we wrap off this jam-packed debut discussing The Wolf’s free agent winners and losers at the quarterback position (39:43). Who gained the most (re: Tom Brady) while who’s tumbling down the rankings? Find out all this and more, and be sure to subscribe and rate us (5 stars) on iTunes and Stitcher!
